Unavoidable part of manager's life is attending of meetings. It takes between a third and a half of their working lives. Meetings passes more effectively when they are really necessary. Besides, one of the vital parts of the meetings is agenda. If it distributes beforehand, it can prepare members for the integral discussion. Also the person chairing the meeting should encourage those who say a little to speak and stop those who are talking too much. At the end of the successful meeting people will understand that they have spend their time in a right way, but they will feel sorry about bad-organized meeting, thinking that this meeting was needless. According Ronald Winterson, who is chief executive of a large manufacturing company, business meetings shouldn't be very frequent and long. Besides, such a meetings should be concentrated on the discussion of one problem, the sense of which was perfomed before in agenda . Ronald thinks that time is money and managers have to value it correspondingly.
