how can we summary the story ???
i really want to summary some stories but i dont know how
shall i read the whole story first and then summary it ??? but i think by this way we might forget some important events.
another question that i would ask about is what is the most important things should we write when we want to summary the essay??

Ahh, well, that's the whole point of doing a summary, isn't it? Cutting out all the redundant stuff and highlighting the most important parts. It takes quite a bit of practice to master summarising, and it could take you quite long if you're new at it. You've got to read the whole story a couple of times first, then jot down the parts you think are the core of the story, changing the wording to make it shorter, omitting anything which doesn't really need to be there. Until you've got the right number of words you've got to keep going over it again and again. Can't tell you which the most important things to write are because it depends on the essay in question.

Also a common mistake is to take words directly from the story and put them in your summary.  A couple quotations are fine in a summary if it illustrates something and the exact quote is important.  But be sure to put everything in your own words.
