suitable and fit
Is threre any difference between these two words.I mean can i say "that dress is suitable for the party" or "that dress is fit for the party"
also .that job fits you prefectly or that job suits you prefectly?

Hello "Fit" and "suit" are almost synonymous. But "X fits Y(=a person)" means "X agrees well to Y physically (like in size)". On the other hand, "X suits Y" is used in talking about how good Y looks with X.
