Is the verb "suggest" followed by gerund\infinitive? My book says he is followed by gerund, though I myself am used to say "I suggest you to do..." and I have always seen people using this verb the same way as far as I remember :X...

Sorry. " is not at all correct. " What you want is something like these: I suggest you do it right now.
