"Star Wars Universe" or "Star Wars universe"

Hello, yesterday I posted a similar question about "Star Wars Canon" or "Star Wars canon", and I was kindly informed that it should be "canon" not "Canon" in that phrase. Similarly, is "universe" correct in this new phrase? If so, is this because this is not a title really, so "canon" or "universe" doesn't fall under title capitalization rules?

Without more context, I'm not sure if 'canon' is the right word to use.

I am using parts of the Star Wars story as a loose framework for writing about database technology. I have a disclaimer section where I am informing readers that my examples are loosely based on Star Wars but any differences between Star Wars references or examples in my technical articles and the actual Star Wars movies/books are not intended to slight the Star Wars story or movies.
