I don't uderstand very well the meaning of this expression here:
'We met over there at her apartment, me and guitarrist Bruce Langhorne and STAND-UP bass player Bill Lee, ...'
Coul someone explain it to me?

It's not totally clear to me, either. Perhaps more context might help. It may mean that he physically stand
