Spending my hard-earned cash wisely...
I'm moving to Italy next year and wish to teach english for work when I get there. I have many years teaching experience but none specifically in teach English (especially as a foreign/other language). I'm willing to pay for a course leading to TESOL or CELTA certification but as a training professional - I know only too well that there will be good courses and bad.
I want to ensure that if I spend around £1,000 (and this is my own money of course) that it is spent wisely.
I want to be certain that I get the best value for my money and also want to reach the end of the course knowing it has been a worthwhile investment of time too!

I would start with a TEFL course - if you are an experienced teacher you'll find the course rather easy! After that I would then progress to the CELTA which is universally recognised and is a challenging course.
