My first question here:

Is it "sounds to me like..." or "sounds for me like...".

I'm pretty unsure about this. Please explain why as well.

It sounds to me like... This means "Based on what I have heard, it's my opinion that..."

It sounds to me like you still love her.

It sounds to me like Jim is the one who will get that proomtion.
