song lyrics

I was asked to traslate a song into English. The song is replete with metaphors and such and I'm not sure at all I properly understood it . Anyway, the song (as I understood it) is about an addict who has lost friends and family members to drugs.
Now, I'd be interested to hear your opinion about the translation / song. Is it just too vague and difficult ?

I suppose that some ambiguity in a song is welcome so I'm asking if this translation could actually reach the average Brit/American (or any native speaker for that matter)?
