As shown your sentence are now grammatically correct, but you should note that lie and liar are very strong words in English. You might say instead something like You made me feel like a fool because I passed on that misinformation to our cousins.

In your second sentence there is no context that allows the sentence to make much sense. Telling a lie and going to the beach are completely unrelated actions.
