Some or any?
Please explain me when should I use "any" and when "some". I can't get it right. Some grammar says that "some " use only in questions, another grammar says tht "any" use only in questions and with plural......Sorry about stupid request. I am russian and i tryin to lern engllish ...Waiting for your explanation....Cheers!

Generally, 'any' is used for questions and negative statements, while 'some' is used for affirmative statements. However, 'some' is also used for questions when the speaker expects an agreement in response.
