Slop

“If I drink a cup of tea and I tip it too much, I spill the tea which then runs down my chin.”

Can I say one of the following?

“I slopped the tea down my chin.”

“The tea slopped down my chin.”

Ann225 Can I say one of the following? ” I would not say that. It sounds too comical and undignified, though I suppose it's hard to remain dignified with tea dribbling down your chin.
