Single school

How can we call single school/shop which have no branch?

Are "Single school / Single shop" correct here?

Top answer

Forget about 'schools' unless they have branches in your country. In the UK and USA they don't. As for 'shops', unless they are branches of national/international chains, they're called independent shops/stores.

For example, here in the UK, many pharmacies are branches of national chains like Boots or Lloyds, but my local pharmacist runs his own business
