Simple or compound sentence
hello all,i have a question here.What makes this sentence, "James cleaned and polished his brother's car." a simple sentence?isn't this a compound sentence made of two simple sentences of "James cleaned his brother's car" and "James polished his brother's car"?Please enlighten me.Thank you.
