Shall or Should??

Question

I never know how to use these modal verbs properly. Could someone explain me the usage, any diffrences between them ?I am patiently waiting for your replies.Thanks in advance,

If I am not wrong, shall is used to indicate possibility.

For example:

I shall come tomorrow.

Should is used to indicate a necessary action.

For example:

The assembly should begin at 8 PM.

shall and should are less related than meets the eye. True, they both start with sh, but the similarity ends there.

shall means will. It's used to indicate future time. will is much more common than shall.

We shall be home before midnight.
(We (definitely) will be home before midnight.)
________

should means ought to. It has to do with expectations and with what is advisable.

We should be home before midnight.
(We expect to be home before midnight.)
You should not tease the dog. It may bite you.
(It is not advisable for you to tease the dog.)
