Can I write the sentence with the correct position of "has"?(a) Ali is very boastful and has a few friends.

(a) Ali is very boastful and has a few friends. Okay. BTW, do you mean 'a few' or 'few'? 'a few' means 'a small number of friends'; 'few' w/o 'a' means 'not mnay' or even 'none'.

I think "a few" or "few" is correct if I want to mean a small number or not many, right?

To me, your sentence would be logical with "few" (i.e. "not many").
