0 1."Another way to stop them is to get a TV station to run a story.", 2."The best way to save money is by spending less." In the two sentences, after the verb "be", 1 is followed by an infinitive and 2 by a "by" phrase. I wonder whether the infinitive and the by phrase are inchangeable. "Another way to stop them is by getting a TV station to run a story.", "The best way to save money is to spend less." Thanks a lot 0-

0 "Another way to stop them is to get a TV station to run a story." Is it also correct to say "Another way to stop them is get a TV to run a story"? I have seen sentences like "His job is sell computers", " ....... is work on the problem." I am confused by so many ways of expressing the same idea. Thanks for your help. 0-
