Sentence?

I am.

In the sentence, if 'am' means 'exist', is the sentence meaningful?

I think writing the term "I am" then be silent like that without a question being asked or adding more sentences wouldn't make your term complete nor clear. Because it would make the other part or listener wonder " You are what? complete your sentence " The listener would think that you maybe wanted to say:" I am fine" or " I am here" or" I am a student" or" I am happy"or "I am beautiful" etc.
