Help me please. I cannot understand the meaning of those words in this dialog:

Some of this is my guesswork. If I'm totally wrong then hopefully someone will correct me.
Is the speaker I labelled "A" wearing the star somewhere on his uniform? If so, this may signify his rank and mean that he is not "Sarge" (Sergeant) but a General, which is a higher rank (so, he would be insulted by being called "Sarge").
"You're Tinkerbell?" is obviously a facetious answer
