Letter Writing
Review Cover Letter
I have written and rewritten this over and over. I don't know if it is it or me that is resulting in no response from job applications. If it is the letter, I wanted to see what could be done to fix it. If not, then apparently I have a bigger problem. ha ha...
Here it is------------------------
Hello! My name is Amanda White. I am a hard-working and enthusiastic Graphic Designer with over 16 years of experience ranging from print design to photo editing and some web work. I have worked on staff creating a wide variety of graphic design collateral for several large companies such as Texas Tech University and USA SHADE & Fabric Structures, both of which encompass several brands and departments.
As a seasoned graphic designer, my abilities and experience are far-ranging. My expertise includes designing flyers, brochures, books/catalogs, logos and packages, tradeshow collateral, sales materials, presentations, invitations, banners and a variety of other print media. High proficiency in photo editing, correction and manipulation further lends an extra level of quality in my work. I have full mastery of controlling project timelines from the first idea through conceptual development and design to the final product. Another plus is employment at a printing press. My design position also included working closely with the prepress department and I was responsible for the setup up press-ready documents.
I have expert and proficient knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Currently, I run my own small design freelance business located at website.com.
