I guess, I read in the answers of this forum's questions not to use the verb "fix" with the noun "issue". Instead, use "resolve". So I think you shouldn't use "fix" in the second sentence because it will turn back to "issue", based on my understanding.

"Once we solved it,...."
"Once we resolved it,...."
"Once we finished,....
