Report correction

Hello! Could you please take a look at this report? I had a really hard time writing it. I wanted to explain so many things that I have the feeling that it turn out to be confusing. :/

FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING IN MY COUNTRY

Introduction
The principal purpose of this report is to provide current figures and statistics about foreign language learning in my country: what languages people learn, who learns them and where they learn them. The final section makes recommendatios as to how the situation could be improved.

Current situation
A survey was conducted among a random selection of Spanish citizens. 46% of the people between age 20-30 go to the Oficial Language School or to a private academy. 89% of the children take part in activities that are related to language learning, because the parents think it is important for their future. This results show a high interest in learning languages. Most of the adults are students that need a qualification that recognizes a second language to finish their degree or people that wish to improve their curriculum vitae by having a high qualification in another language.

What is the most popular language to learn? English. 85% of the interwied citizens answered English. This language is taught in schools at an early age as a second language. As such, almost everyone has some knowledge about English and this skill is wished to be improved. On second place with 6% we have French because of the proximity to France and on third place we have German with 3% . It seems that the las mentioned language got trendy after the economic crisis, some people think about emigrating to Germany to seek for a job.

Recommendations:
As the statistics have shown, English plays a big role in Spanish society. It is believed to be a key which opens the door to a better future.
I would make the following recommendations:
- Even though English is the most popular language I would give also importance to other languages. I’m against focusing all the attention to only one language.
- Make the qualification exams cheaper so that more people can affort to take them, since they are very important to get a good job.
