1. Is this correct to say this:


"On my way home, I was approached by a stranger who asked me if I deliver Mike a message. I said I had no idea of who Mike was. On the following day, the same scene repeated…"



2. By the way, would:


'to deliver someone a message'


mean the same as


'to deliver someone an errand'?

As shown. 'was' is optional, but it sounds better with it in my opinion
