Reflexive pronoun . . . or not?
George tripped him and Peter.
If the "him" is referring to George, should the reflexive pronoun be used? If I'm understanding this, the sentence would read correctly as: George tripped himself. I'm not sure which pronoun is correct in the original sentence.

Yes, if him is George, it should read himself . Perhaps more usually, Peter would come first: He tripped Peter and himself .

lol "Tripped" was simply what came to mind in the middle of the night when I needed an action verb that would substitute for a canon-specific verb that not everyone would recognize. It would be rather difficult for him to trip himself, but he could easily Apparate himself and his friend!
