Questions
I have two questions;
1. She was listening to the radio
2. She listened to the radio
Please correct me if I am wrong question 1. She was listening to the radio. Informs me she is currently listening to the radio. My reason is very simple. Due to the use of the verb “Listening” as the “ing” makes it a present participle or a gerund. However, “Was” is also used in the sentence, which could make it a past action, making it past simple? Could someone shed light?
Regarding question 2. She listened to the radio. I am sure this is a completed action the form within the sentence changes due to the verb “Listened” ending with “ed” making the form of the sentence tense change to a past tense due to the Past participle. But if I am wrong please let me hear from you.
