I would like to know the difference in the meaning between the following sentences.

1) My house has been painted.

2) I have had my house painted.

I would like to know the difference in the meaning between the following sentences.

1) My house has been painted. Just states this as a fact. Maybe the painters came to the wrong house. Maybe they didn't.

2) I have had my house painted Makes it clear that I am the person who arranged for the painters to come.
