putting on quotation marks on adjective

00 In respect to this unusual usage, would you say it is in terms of the word's meaning? Or could it also be in terms of its grammatical correctness? 02 br

I usually perceive the word 'feedback' as being a functional noun in its own right. Since I feel uneasy about its grammatical usage, could I be able to put quotations marks around it? 0 In the case of your example with 01 i 00 superb 02 i 00 , I think you are using what are sometimes called 01 u 00 scare quotes 02 u 00 . They can be paraphrased by preceding the word with 01 i 00 so-called 02 i 00 . That is, they show that the author does not really believe what he's quoting.
