Hi,
The question is like this:
Fill in the blanks.
He would never have succeeded ( ).
1. if he had put tiny effort into achieving his goals.
2. if he had not made a lot of effort to attain his goals.

Both 1, and 2, possible option here?
I am sure number 2 is good, but I am not so sure about number 2.
Does it have to be "put a tiny effort"? or "put some tiny effort"?
