Is it necessary to use a comma after the word window in the following sentence?
On the table, there are a lamp and flowers.
Do I have to use "some" in front of flowers or could I write just "flowers"?

Well, if there is no word 'window', you don't need to put a comma after 'window'! (ha-ha) I would nomally put a comma after the word 'table'. However, I wouldn't put a comma if the phrase
