To avoid legal proceedings being filed against you please send your payment to the address shown below.
I understand that "being filed" and "shown' are passive forms. However I cannot find grammar rules which can explain both cases.
Why "being filed" and not "filed"?
Why 'shown' and not 'is shown'?
