Plural or not?
Hi,
I'm comfortable with "Both meanings are the same."
I'm fine with "Each has the same meaning."
But I keep changing my mind on "Both have the same meaning(s)."
Any help?

If it's of any help to you to know how I personally hear these, then I say that 1 involves two entities each of which has one meaning, and 2 involves two entities each of which has multiple meanings.
