Pls advice me what point should i focus

Hi all ,

I am now in meeting with the difficult of writing essay which is need to write for apply master programme. I am now want to apply the engineering course . But they say i had to write an essay. But i don't know which point should i focus.The topic is "state why u wish to pursure this course n how to apply the knowledge u had gain from this course" .What poin should i focus ? Pls advice me .

Give each topic equal focus. Search this forum and you will find lots of motivation letters and advice.

You want to apply for a Master's program in Engineering. I assume you have studied engineering for a few years already. I am not an engineer, and I have not studied engineering, but you must know that engineering covers a variety of applications. What particular area interests you the most? Bridge-building? Hydraulics? Computer technology? Aerodynamics? and so forth?
