Please tell me if which sentence is right.

1. For example, I went shopping wearing small sized shoes. But it hurt so much that I had to come back home early.

2. For example, I went shopping wearing small sized shoes. But my feet hurt so much so I had to come back home early.

Which one is correct? or both of them are right?

Hello, Both seem fine to me. I`m not sure what made you uncertain about them. If it`s the difference in subjects in the << it hurt >> and << my feet hurt >> , it`s pretty much the same , if you say << it hurt >>, <<it>> refers to the wearing of those small sized shoes , which obviously, inflict pain on the feet, the same ones as in the second phrase.
