Hi,I played (does "play" collocate with "ride"? Can you please suggest some verbs here?) the ride with my hands held up high (held high? held up? Is there another way to say this?) the entire time.Thanks in advance!

"played the ride" won't work. Sorry.

You are talking about a roller coaster, maybe?

I rode the roller coaster / I did the ride

with my hands held up high / with my hands up / with my hands over my head

the entire time / all the way.
