Please help me to understand a sentence.
I’m not sure whether my understanding of the following sentence is correct or not, so would you please help me to understand it correctly?Their speaking language in this sentence is English.Sentence;They talked about topics so erudite they might as well have been speaking another language.My Understanding;Their conversation topics were so erudite.So their speaking language was as if another country’s language even though it was English.
