Please Any one who can help me to clear this, let me hear from you as soon as possible. My question is, Ex, What did you give to him? i believe that there "What" (referring to the Direct Object) should be direct and the indirect Object HIM should be indirect in the sentence. because GIVE , sb sth / sth to sb. and i believe if it is possible with the verb, Wh question should be direct object there. so, tell me, what is correct grammatically, what did you give to him? or what did you give him? thanks..
