please help me~ ^^ Is this sentence correct?
"The more things the school give, the less things the students receive."
I mean that the school compel the students to study too much in my country, so I want to say that the students will get stressed about it and they will hate stydying if they can't enjoy learnings. So, actually I want to write " The more the school give, the less the students receive." but it is a little ungrammatically so I turn to the top sentence. and could you recommend a better expression to express my intention.

I think it is too vague. You will need to do something like this: The more the schools ask of their students, the less the students receive of their schools.
