Hi. Please correct this.
I am new to this country and was surprised to see this type of custom being followed here yesterday. The custom goes like this: Unlike the country I am from, here, when children have a party, it could be arrranged that each person bring a food item like a bag of their favorite cookies or chips and once they are all brought, they are put on a table. The children then share what is on the table with others. The best part about this is that the cost of having a party is nominal and everyone gets to experience various tastes different brands of various cookies or chip have to offer. I think it is a great idea, just like going "dutch" in a Western country I think.
