It is known that the most highest priority a young man may place in a list of criteria he hopes to find in a potential mate is beauty of a girl. In other words, of all the criteria that a person can manage to put on a piece of paper, beauty of a female (ie, how beautiful she is) is usually placed highest. Why is that? I think an overly simple answer can be given out in that most of men's (or young men's) decisions are affected by perceptive or visual factors -- that is, how a particuar thing or person is perceived by them or appears to them visually at a moment in time. You look around and would find this is true for the most part; but isn't it somewhat illuminating to find out that the most decisive factor or factors that determine the success of a marriage isn't the initial factor considered but rather, it is something else they most likely to have overlooked: understanding and compatiability? A wise person told me many years ago that once women reach the age of forty, they all look the same: the passing times overtake them and distintively cut wrinkle lines appear and those not-so-attractive brown 'age' spots appear all over the face, whether they like them or not. Doesn't it make you wonder how the passing time put once the highest priority into a place where it most likely doesn't matter where it is anymore to most of men in the world? Hmm, hmm -- how a life enfolds its mystery.
