Please correct these sentences
Hi. Please correct these. Could we consider the phrase "The past weekend" as something like a certain weekend in the past and not as the phrase "In the past weekend"? I am not sure but I think we use the present perfect tense with the phrase "in the past weekend."
My dream is to be (to become?) an English teacher. The past weekend, I talked with a person who is an English teacher... I will write and read more. If I do those things, I am sure they (it?) will help me to become a good English teacher.
