Please correct my letter of request to the College President
Date
Dear Sir
As the acting editor in chief of the Community Collegian, the school’s official publication, I am requesting your good office to allow us to change the usual format of our supplement magazine entitled “Heart and Soul” from 8” x 6.5” to 9.5” x 7”. This change in the size will allow us to maximize the space with impressive graphic designs and will make us qualify to join Intercollegiate Press Competitions. These types of competitions usually require the 9.5” x 7” size. I would also like to request that instead of using the risograph for printing, it will be printed with the use of book printing machines, the one which is used to print our Community Collegian newspaper. From our past experiences, using the risograph gives a smudge effect on the final output. Whereas using the book printing machine gives a finer print output thus creating a more professional look to our magazine.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
______________
