Please correct my Letter of Motivation and give me some Hints

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with reference to the possibility of obtaining work experience within your organisation.
I am a student at the (...) and I will finish my study of economics in December 2005 with the Diploma. My majors are Controlling and Production management and my Diploma thesis is: The Vendor managed Inventory as coordination instrument in the Supply Chain.
During the time I where Employee of summer youth camps I learned the values of teamwork and commitment. I am also very familiar with a variety of Computer Software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Latex.
Before the work experience I will Increase my English Skills with a Language course to avoid Language barriers.
I am very keen to apply my theoretical skills in practical work especially in my study majors Controlling and Production management and learn more about the Australian country and their people.
I enclose a Curriculum vitae and a Survey of performances I have done during my main study.
