Please correct these sentences:
Finish each of these sentences so that it is as similar as possible in meaning in the sentence written before:
1As Tom grew older he became more independent.
If I say:The older Tom grew ,the independent he became.,is it correct?or should I say:
The older Tom had grown, the independent he became.
2 My parents didn`t realize that they had so much furniture until they had to move house.
If I say:Not until my parents had to move house they realize that they had so much furniture,is it correct?
3 I prefer reading to playing computer games.
If I say:I `d rather read than play computer games,is it correct?
