Hi!
I want to ask :
words (Verb, Adjective, Past Participle) like able, sent, hit etc if comes alone without using infinitve they do not show any time of action. They just give the meaning of that particular word. If these words comes with "to be" or with "being", they show a action or a quality of being, in passive form. Like to be able to, to be sent, to be hit (they show action). But if "to be" is removed from it then it will become able, sent, hit (It is the name of a adjective, verb etc. without action).
Am I right ?

Apologies if I haven't understood your questions properly. Active verb use: I hit the ball I sent the letter. Passive verb use: I was hit by the ball I was sent to Russia by the President.
