Please answer me....
Why don't we need "of" between the word "way" and "numeracy" in this sentence "the country plans to overhaul the way numeracy is being taught in schools"

Numeracy is a noun. Of is used after way when a gerund follows: This is the only way of doing it. Or, with an infinitive : This is the only way to do it.
