Percent and deduct
Hello everyone,
Currently, I am working with a huge amount of numbers and I have some sentences that I don´t know if they are correct gramatically. Would you be so kind to take a look at them and let me know whether they are right or not? I also accept suggestions.
The teacher deducted 0.5 points from my overall grade
The teacher deducted 0.5 points off my overall grade
The teacher deducted 0.5 points off of my overall grade
The teacher deducted 0.5 points out my overall grade
The teacher deducted 0.5 points out of my overall grade
Could you also use take out?
The teacher took out 0.5 points from my exam
The teacher took out 0.5 points off my exam

I don´t know if you need to use "of" after "off" in English. Could you kindly explain it to me? What about " take off" does it fit in the above sentences if I use it instead of " to deduct" or "to take out" ?

5 points from my overall grade That is the only one that I find native, Irland5. You could also use 'take off ' (less formal): The teacher took half a point off my overall grade.
