I have just come back from home and I would like to ask my friend who came back earlier what were you doing today? What have you been doing today? Which tense should I use to be gramatically correct?
I have been cooking. reading a book or I was cooking/reading a book ( some actions finished some time ago) and some of them has just finished like cooking
Top answer
" or "How was your day? " The answer can be in any tense that is appropriate to the action described. I've been trying new recipes.
