Which or what tense how/ shoud I ask is better..?
Where were you working before you started working here? or Where did you work,.........?
I was working for 3months in a restaurant before I started working here..?

Both are all right.

But: I worked in a restaurant for three months before I started working here.

The simple tense is better becaus
