Parts of speech, tenses and general questions
can someone please tell me the parts of speech that are capitalized in the following sentence?
A TEACHER OFTEN NEEDS TO DISPLAY a FLEXIBLE attitude AND a sense of humour.
so far i have
A - article
TEACHER - proper noun
OFTEN-adverb
NEEDS
TO DISPLAY -adjective(?) - i am torn between this and preposition
FLEXIBLE - verb
AND - conjuction.
what tense is 'has also been' and why?
what is the difference in meaning among the following words;
slender, thin, scrawny, lean, lanky, skinny or slim?
wouldn't these words be more semantic (as in different words for the same thing, just different inferred meanings?)

Hi JP NEEDS is the verb, and TO DISPLAY is an infinitive in this sentence. When you have a verb following another verb, it's usually an infinitive. The "to" in front is also a clue.
