Parenthetically citing the New Oxford Annotated Bible...
Hello, everyone! Just a real quick question, but one that has been stumping me. The New Oxford Annotated Bible (New Revised Standard Edition, 4th Edition College Edition with the Apocrypha) contains the Old Testament and New Testament, Torah, Writings, Prophets, and all that good stuff. I know how to cite, say, Genesis for example or Exodus, but these introductions are written by many different people. The book's editor is listed as Michael D. Coogan with Marc Z. Brettler, Carol A. Newsom, and a couple of others as co-editors. Then each introduction and different section has a number of different "contributors."
OK so the question: If I were to parenthetically cite something from the "Introduction to the Prophetic Books" written by Marvin A. Sweeney (his name is at the bottom) on page 963, how would I do that? (MLA format) Would it be (Coogan 963), (Sweeney 963), (Sweeney in Coogan 963), or something completely different? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Yeah I've already consulted the Purdue OWL, but it doesn't seem to address in-text citations for when you're citing a book like the New Oxford Annotated Bible. It's the in-text citations that I am trying to figure out for this text, being that there are so many different editors, co-editors, and contributors. But if I am understanding you correctly, then the book should be treated like an antholog
